CH960 Sugar Cane Harvester
John Deere

With a inline 6 cylinder 13.6L PowerTech engine and 485hp, the harvester has the power to plow through fields of cane with no issue. It works by cutting the cane near the base, then feeding it through a system where rotating arms strip off leaves and other undergrowth and then move the stalks to be cut. A conveyer arm delivers them into a nearby container, pulled by a tractor such as the 9RX 640. Before being deposited, two stages of fan blades blow away any remaining detritus, so the harvest has more cane and less mess.
